(All photos on this page are actual still frames from this video.)

The first part of your 1 hour walk begins in Newport, Rhode Island along the famous Cliff Walk.

Considered one of the top attractions in Newport,
this public access walkway borders the shore line.

This scenic walkway runs between many of Newport's famous gilded mansions and the sea.

Most of the cliff walk is paved and it offers beautiful vistas, tunnels, and long winding pathways.

The camera stops briefly from time to time to allow you to enjoy the amazing views.

The walkway is a public right of way through private property
owned by the waterfront property owners.

This walk combines the natural beauty of the Newport shoreline with the
architectural history of Newport's Gilded Age.

In 1975, the Cliff Walk was designated New England's first National Recreation Trail.

The next section of your 1 hour New England Coastal Walk takes you to the Ocean Path
in Maine's Acadia National Park.

The Ocean Path is considered one of the iconic trails in Acadia National Park...

offering incredible and stunning ocean views.

The Ocean Path is said to be a great trail to see the best Acadia has to offer.

The camera stops briefly from time to time to allow you to enjoy the incredible views.

You'll experience the classic Maine coast with its picturesque scenery.

The path turns away from the shore briefly before....

returning to the typical ocean view.

During this entire section of the video you'll see no other tourists along the path.

The next part of your 60 minute walk takes you to the Shore Path in Bar Harbor, Maine
where Cunard's Queen Mary II lies at anchor in the distance.

The Shore Path offers a spectacular setting with multi-million dollar estates on one side,

and open expanses of the sea on the other.

More than a century old, Bar Harbor's Shore Path follows the shore of Frenchman Bay.

In the distance is certainly one of the most photographed islands
in Acadia National Park, Sheep Porcupine Island....

while just to the left of it is Bar Island, surprisingly accessible at low tide
by foot or by four wheel vehicle via a natural gravel land bridge.

It is in this section of your one hour New England Coastal Walk
that you encounter one or two groups of tourists.

But tourists aside, this is still a memorable and picturesque walk.

The final section of your 60 minute walk takes you to the Skyline Trail
in Nova Scotia's Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

While technically not part of New England, we've included this trail because of
its incredible setting and because it is part of the Appalachian Mountain Range.

The hiking trail lies on the western side of the Cabot Trail, near French Mountain's summit.

The boardwalk at the middle of the trail yields majestic views of the Cabot Trail and the ocean.

There are multiple interpretive panels along the trail.

Rustic and wild, the Skyline Trail has been closed several times by
"aggressive moose behaviour," and sadly, even a 2009 fatal coyote assault.

As you get close to the end of the boardwalk, it becomes easy to see
why this trail is truly the gem of the Cabot Trail.

Your one hour New England Coastal Walk ends here on the Skyline Trail, with this
spectacular view of French Mountain on the left, and the Gulf of St. Lawrence to the right

Whether you choose the DVD or the 720P High Definition Download version,
we believe you'll enjoy the incredible scenery in The New England Coastal Walk.

It will make the time you spend exercising on a treadmill Fly By!
